If you are interested in working as an SFX makeup artist this is the ideal course for you. Over the next 5 days, you will go through all makeup techniques for creating all the basic SFX looks. Once you have completed this course you will feel confident in achieving any look requested by your client. Our classes are kept to a small size, max 6 students per class to give our students the best possible learning experience and benefit from our one on one attention.

Our facilitators are currently still very active as Professional Makeup Artists to ensure that we give very current Industry-related training.

This course is 6 days, spread over 3 weeks with 2 classes per week; we have morning and evening classes available. Weekend classes are available (these classes are dependent on the availability of the facilitators)

Preparing the Model and Maintaining a Safe working environment
Blocking out eyebrows
Bald Caps
Creating Different Effects, by using casualty Makeup
Basic Wounds
Bruises & Scars
Cuts & Lacerations1st, 2nd & 3rd Degree Burns
Blood Products
Facial Hair (Application, Removal & Maintenance)
Character work
